Economist Says Trump Not Cause of Stock Market Success

In a new interview with Business Insider, Paul Krugman, a Nobel Prize-winning economist and distinguished professor of economics says Donald Trump is not directly responsible for the U.S. economy and stock market’s success. Krugman notes that stocks are up about the same amount all around the world, which is certainly not specific to the US president. In terms of the economy, Krugman adds that Trump doesn’t deserves credit for how strong it is since he hasn’t put any actual policies in place.
